We are sending an enormous amount of love and hugs to our new niece and cousin in Texas today! Quinn Laurel Turpin has finally made her appearance! Welcome to the world little one!! She sure is perfect and beautiful! We can't wait to shower her with kisses! Ahh, what a darling!
We had a fun weekend as we spent lots of time celebrating the love between our dear friends Rob and Erin. But first, we were lucky to have a quick visit from Case and Jen on Saturday, 
Sunday was special as we celebrated the wedding ceremony in a beautiful local park - it was a perfect day that represented the bride and groom as the genuine and grateful people that they are. Throughout the night, Bennett was the recipient of endless cuddles from many of the guests and was honestly such a calm and happy boy while he was adored and held by many admirers. It was a great weekend!
Sadly, we won't be making it to a game in the Twins vs Mariners series this weekend, but that won't stop Bennett from cheering for his mom's favorite team!

It was burger time at our place as we enjoyed a little birthday gathering for Andrew this evening. What better way to spend a Sunday than with too much food, and all the right people to share it with? 
Happy Birthday to you, Hubby! Tonight we celebrated as a family and went out for Circa burgers and beer, then carrot cake at home for dessert. We also plan to celebrate Andrew's 35 years with a little barbecue at our place on Sunday, where he can showcase his grilling skills using the new Brinkmann that Bennett and I picked out for him. Yum!
Casey and Jen came up from Olympia on Saturday and we all went down to the waterfront for dinner at the Crab Pot. We sure enjoyed a tasty, messy feast!! 
While Grandma was here, we visited our favorite parks along the beach. It was fun to look for shells, see jellyfish, watch Hampton swim illegally, and just share life together while touring our beautiful surroundings. 
Nana flew in from Wisconsin on Friday for an extended weekend in Seattle. Having my mom around means so much to me, and seeing her elated love for Bennett makes me feel like such a proud parent and thankful daughter. Thanks for taking care of us while you were here!! We loved all of our adventures with you! What fun we had taking walks, eating great meals, touring the town, and just being together! We LOVE and MISS you!!
Bennett had mastered the skill of rolling from stomach to back for several weeks now, but just today rolled over from back to tummy for the first time. It was exciting as Andrew, myself, and Grandma were all there to witness the big event. Now, it's all he wants to do so he's rollin' all over!
