Uncle D & Cousin Kate!

It was so fun having Uncle Dan and Cousin Kate here from Texas this weekend!

Kate has fallen for her cousin Bennett and we have fallen for her and all of her entertaining ways. The kids enjoyed tons of play time and we definitely had a full weekend of fun while getting dinners, seeing the beach, and spending time with loved ones.

We are so fortunate to have such a fun and caring family!!

Minnesota Bound

Looks like we are getting all geared up for the big move to Minnesota!! I am so very proud of Andrew for working so hard and receiving a job offer we could not refuse. Major decisions were made within a short time frame, but we feel good about following what we think is meant to be the next step for our family. Andrew will start his new gig at Target on 2/21 and my hope is to be only a few weeks behind him so Bennett is not without his daddy for too long! It is a bittersweet decision as Seattle is a nostalgic place for me filled with my favorite memories of our courtship, our wedding, our first home, the birth of our first baby, and countless days of happiness with family and friends. I know no matter where we live, what matters most is that we are together and that we will only be making more happy memories in Minnesota in all the years to come. It was a HUGE and very difficult decision for our family, but we are so excited for all the Midwest adventures in the years ahead!!

My two little stomach virus patients are conquering this bug head on and are slowly approaching a full recovery. Hang in there - I love you both and will always take care of you!!

The Beach Makes Everything Better

The boys were starting to feel a little better (yes, even Andrew got struck by the tummy bug), and after huge smiles from Bennett on our stroll through the neighborhood earlier today, I knew that he was probably yearning for even more nature time after being sick and stuck in the house for too long. It was the right move when we all headed to the beach. Well, it always is! The fresh, crisp air and beauty acts as a remedy I guess. Bennett loves watching and hearing the ocean waves and now loves shouting out to all the dogs and birds while we walk.

All Tucked In

We have been doing some singing, reading, dirty laundry, and lots and lots of extra snuggling with our little guy as he has been experiencing diarrhea and vomiting since yesterday. He can't seem to keep anything down and is sad and confused when the vomiting hits.

He still manages to share his smiles, but mostly just wants to lay his head on your shoulder, get his back rubbed, and be mellow with mommy, dada, and the doggie.

Poor little guy.

We put on a pot roast as we will be tucked in for the day and plan to give him all the love he needs in hopes that he gets better soon.

Another Thursday with some Buddies

The kids are growing so fast in our PEPS group! It is such a cute and sweet group of kids! We had fun bouncing, dancing, singing, and eating tacos with everyone tonight!
