With Andrew out of town this weekend, my mom came up last night to lend a helping hand.  Our original beach plans had to change this morning due to the wind and some light showers, so we spent time at home baking cookies before heading out to fly kites and play at the park.  The big kids loved it, Norah napped in the carrier, and Bennett was so proud as he ran with his kite in the air.  What fun park time!

 Bennett is loving t-ball.  He took a spill running to first base after his first at-bat tonight, but brushed himself off and did not come show us his bloody knee until after he made it across home plate a few batters later.  He likes to tell me that his favorite part about it is the running.  He runs after everything in the field, no matter where he is positioned.  Tonight even as he was a runner on the offensive side, he still went after the balls from the bases a couple of times.  Go, Bennett!

In case I have not mentioned it before, Bryn is very much a Daddy's girl.  She has been so in love with him since the moment she was born, so you can imagine how happy she is when they get a date night.  She was beaming when they came home and she went on to show me the little necklace daddy let her pick out at the mall.  They stopped at DQ to share a cone too.  I love how happy and special he makes her feel....

She's 2 Months Old!

Sweet Norah is two months old! She continues to be quite a mellow little baby who loves to eat and snuggle.  She has not slept through the night yet and instead gets up once then settles back in until morning when she slowly and quietly wakes up with some little smiles, ready to snuggle into your shoulder again. 

We are all smitten with this little one - she is such a little love!!!!!
