Searching for Treasures

 

The shores of Lake Superior delivered our perfect kind of morning.  We searched and searched for agates and other treasures with much success and thoroughly enjoyed that fresh air and sunshine as the fog slowly cleared.  Taking it all in and feeling beyond lucky to create these memories with my very favorites.

S'mores!

 

They're getting pretty good at making s'mores! This was our big treat before settling into the cabin for the night. Bryn likes hers "...with just the chocolate and marshmallow, mom.  I don't need any graham crackers."

Kids in a Candy Store

We were all much like a 'kid in a candy store" in this cute little shop! We enjoyed a pre-dinner piece of chocolate out on the porch! And we can safely say these kiddos inherited a love of chocolate like their mom!

Gooseberry Falls

We LOVE Gooseberry Falls! We did the hike down then all the way up and again, I could not believe the mileage the little ones added to their little legs today.  I am so thankful for their love of the great outdoors and love nothing more than all of us sharing in it together.  What an awesome family adventure day!
