Puzzle Lover

It was minutes before 6am this morning, when I am laying in bed and hear a whisper.."Mom, can you come help me find Kentucky?"

Bennett is a true lover of puzzles; it was the first thing he wanted to do this morning.  This is one of his favorites and it takes a little while for him to get all 84 pieces in place, but he can do it all by himself. 

Their little minds are amazing to me!

This Girl

Bryn decided on a short nap today, so she and I spent some time baking and reading, just the two of us.  She is full of words and fun, here's a few of my favorites from the week:

- I told her we were having giant grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner, and her reply. "Ooooooh, that'll be so fun!!"(This has been her new response for many things and she says it with such genuine enthusiasm.)

-While burping her baby: "Babies love to hang out with me, Mom.  Babies love me!"

-"Mommy....I love your eyeballs and I like your brain."

-When she falls down, she gets right back up and says:  "Oooh, I fell, but I'm OK!! I'm so brave!"

I love this girl!

Sweet Boy

We spent a nice portion of our morning outside in the great weather today.  I am so thankful that the two big kiddos love to swing as much as they do as it makes it easier to stay in one general area when it's three on one.  This kid was soaking up the sun, pumping his legs, and laughing so much while sharing his knowledge of bugs, trees, dirt, birds, and so on.  He gives me a permanent smile.

On The Farm

The kids were thoroughly distracted from the windy morning out at Gale Woods Farm today.  The turkeys loved Bennett, and Bryn to no surprise made some new animal friends, her favorite being the friendly barn cat, who even tried to sneak home with us by hopping into the front of the car while we were loading up the kids to leave.  Fun on the farm!

Fun Friday

My mom came up to spend the night! What a big help it was to have her here to help watch the kiddos today and add an extra set of hands around the house.  Not to mention the treats she brought!

Gymnastics!

Our fearless Bryn is a little gymnast! I found a two-year-old class and signed this girl up so she could practice some of her favorite things (climbing/jumping/swinging) in her own fun class.  She had her second session tonight - she seems to love the jumping, enjoys being part of a group, and definitely loved to participate in the talking aspects of the class.   It's going to be so fun for us each week!

All About Bugs and Dinosaurs

Bennett taught Norah everything she needed to know about how to build a "bug and dinosaur forest" this morning, which was right by the "Pacific Ocean" where they eat "coconuts, plants, and dirt."

Can't Get Enough

She seems to be getting bigger every day right now and I just cannot get enough of her.  She's as sweet as they come, our little Norah.
