Bennett worked in his drawing book for 2 hours today and tells me he wants to be an illustrator when he grows up (a daddy and a baseball player too).  He LOVES to draw!

Family Portrait - October

Bennett just brought this home as it had been hanging in his preschool classroom since earlier in the year - his family portrait that he made in October and I love it.  Apparently we are all wearing swimsuits because we are looking for whales in Seattle. 

My Little Boy

 I could not be more proud of every little part of this boy and I make sure to let him know it everyday!  Oh how he makes us smile! I've shed a few happy, nostalgic tears through the week as we came to a decision in choosing our school for next year and registered this boy for Spanish Immersion Kindergarten today! I cannot believe he is growing up so fast!

We stopped for a little walk down at Lake Winona before starting our drive back home - we sure enjoyed the golden sun today!

Winter Fun at Nana's

We met the family down at Nana's for some winter fun this weekend.  We had beautiful January weather with just a little snow, but enough to get in some slow, safe sled runs, a little snowball fun, and even a late night s'mores treat over a quick fire.  Good times were had by all!
