A Little Camping

We snuck in another great camping trip at our favorite local spot this weekend! We explored, went to the amphibian nature show, chased fireflies, roasted s'mores, watched the sunset, and went star gazing! Summer memories made!

The sun was so golden on our faces as we walked along the lake tonight. I had free smiles when I mentioned we were headed toward the ice cream shop!

I love being down by the lake so tonight everyone called it a "date for mom" and we went to Maynard's for a little feast! Best little dates I could ask for!

Always Up Late!

Run club then late happy hour with the neighbors makes for a fun night and also makes for over-tired, excited children who want to stay out and play all night! Making the most of these summer nights I guess!

New Bike

He gets taller by the day it seems - how does that happen? We had to get a new bike for this boy!

Mud Run!

It was a Mud Run morning for all three kiddos today! Yikes! With the exception of a true fall by Andrew while he was running with Norah (yes, scary but so thankful everyone was ok and so glad I happened to be right there to help through all the runners), everything went pretty smoothly.  Bennett ran his hardest, Bryn changed into her dress right before the race started and didn't want to get muddy, and Norah just went with the flow and was happy to run with Andrew and Bryn.  B and N were happy getting a little muddy and B took many, many turns down the giant slip 'n slide (where the firefighters spray all the muddy kids) after!
