Saturday Morning

Add Image After a cheerful and active story time session at our local library this morning, we headed straight to the lake for some swimming and a beach picnic. It always feels great to keep cool in the water. I love Saturday mornings like this!

Uncle Sasey

Bennett adores his uncle Casey and calls him "Sasey" just like I did when I was growing up and following him around. We had not been able to see Casey for a few weeks since our schedules never matched up, so we were so happy that he could spend a full evening with us to grill burgers and share in some play time tonight. Bennett was sad to see him go and kept sweetly saying "Bye Sasey" long after he had gone out the door. We know we'll see you again soon!

Happy Hanging Out

It was nice to spend some much needed time at home tonight. We took a nice walk, threw some kabobs on the grill, and loved relaxing and playing with our smiley little guy.

Little Lou

We are happy to report that everything came back normal on the baby's ultrasound this morning. With more accurate measurements, her abdomen is still measuring on the small side in the 17th percentile, but it is within normal limits and the doctor said we have a slim little baby on our hands. Maybe my big belly is from all the M&Ms I am craving so much these days?
Stay healthy in there little Lou and let the 6 week countdown begin!

Thank You California!

Thanks San Francisco for all the memories!!
We had the best time under your skies and we will be back!

Fisherman's Wharf

For our final day in San Francisco, we had breakfast at the market and took a chilly stroll along the Embarcadero. We later headed to Fisherman's Wharf where we had a seafood lunch and shared a giant cone for dessert while enjoying all the sites. We were able to hit the Coit Tower and also spent some time enjoying all the nice views!
We'll miss you California!

Baker Beach!

Golden Gate Park

San Francisco!!

Andrew and I LOVE San Francisco so we were happy to extend our trip a couple of extra days so we could drive north and spend time in the city by the bay. To me it is such a magical and beautiful place and I love how there are endless choices on where to go for fun and good food.
I very much miss living by the ocean so our first stop was the beach again of course!!
We had a splendid day which started here, took us out to lunch at a bayside diner, then off to the park, another beach, and ended with a family dinner and dessert in North Beach after all the day's activities!
Yes, we love it here!!!!
