Trick-Or Treat!

Happy Halloween from two parrots and a bumblebee!

Trick-or-treating is always fun with little ones! Bennett loved talking with the neighbors, Bryn wanted to open her candy right away, and Norah snuggled into Daddy and fell asleep! We weren't out too long before heading home for a few treats and our jack-o-lantern pizza.

Like her big brother, Bryn also chose to be a parrot this year! They made quite the cute little pair!! She loved her costume and instead of pictures wanted to be out "flying" around!

Bennett said a long time ago that he wanted to be a parrot for Halloween.  He changed his mind a few times since, wanting to be a fairy, an elephant, and a shark, but then finally decided again on a parrot! He was a very happy, energetic, and friendly one too!

Pumpkin Carving

Tonight was our traditional carving of the pumpkins.  Bennett and Bryn worked hard on their "monster spider" pumpkin, helped Daddy clean out the big one, and loved when we got to light a couple of them outside later.  Fun with our little pumpkins!

It was silliness as usual for Bennett and his cousin tonight.  These two sure were getting excited for Halloween!  So glad they are such good little buds!

Monday Dinner

We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends in our lives.  The kiddos absolutely love my friend Susie, so they were beyond excited when she brought dinner and dessert over for all of us tonight.  They showed her so many toys and loved chatting with her.  Thanks so much, Susie - what a treat for all of us!

Apple Lovers

I love that they each chose an apple as their snack of choice after nap time today.  Little apple lovers!

Fall Evenings

I am loving these fall evenings.  Uncle Casey joined us for dinner tonight, and the kiddos made sure to get plenty of attention from him.  Bryn asked for many pushes on the swing, Bennett was all about baseball, and Norah just loved little snuggles.  Good times!

Halloween Fun

We all had a great time at the nature center's Halloween Bash today.  There was a scavenger hunt, crafts, trick-or-treating, and a dance party.  The kids liked it all, especially the dance party.  Bennett actually was the one who got the party started on the dance floor.  Once he started dancing (and boy, did he ever), many other kids and families joined us! He even participated in the werewolf howling contest, and had one of the loudest roars! Halloween parties are fun!
