We officially moved out of the upstairs yesterday and are all geared up for the family to live in the basement for the week as the new floors are getting installed upstairs.  Everyone has a bed set up, but naturally, they have to get their cuddle time in too!

Our day was filled with lots of nature, bird watching, bike riding, a few errands, a trip to the yogurt lab with Uncle Casey, and lots of sunshine - family Sundays are the best!

Bryn and I made blondie bars this afternoon so Andrew could have a glass of milk and a snack upon his very late arrival home from NY tonight.  She loves her daddy and it shows.

Norah Is 10 Months Old!

Norah is a 10 month old!! She continues to be as SWEET as ever, truly such a sweet little soul.  She waves at everyone, everywhere and loves to blow kisses and give kisses.  She is usually on the move, crawling, cruising, and wants to get her mouth on everything.  She has six big teeth and seems like a peanut to us size-wise.  I think she loves playing with Bennett and Bryn more than anything and fully lights up whenever she's with them.  She is calm and very patient, loves bananas, blueberries, and yogurt, and luckily still likes to cuddle at the end of the day when she's decided to be done moving around! We love our Norsie!

Sneak Peek!

Here's a sneak peek at a few of the changes that are happening at our house! I must say that Andrew has worked some incredibly long, hard hours with a smile on his face these past two weeks at home before he starts his new job on Monday!  He has painted almost the entire upstairs and transformed our kitchen too.  No more red paint as seen above (now there's a back splash and 'castle path' paint - so proud of his tile work!). We have even been able to sneak in some kid-free lunches, a calm, quiet breakfast at a favorite spot, and many mini coffee dates to catch up with each other and plan our goals and next steps.  Lots of trips to Home Depot too! We didn't let any house projects get in the way of what we value most - our time with the kiddos, so there have been some late nights (note beer and wine in 'before' photo above) that all balanced out with awesome family days as we tried to really take advantage of his two weeks 'off'.  It's been such a treat and we are excited to keep seeing more changes as we move along on our list!

There's snow on the ground, but the roads are clear, and these bike lovers could no longer wait to get out for a spin!

Awesome Day

We had a blast at the zoo today and were able to spend lots of time with all the animals since there were no crowds.  Oh, how I love a good family day! (Norah's smiles crack me up here!)

Children's Museum Morning

 The kiddos loved our morning at the museum! We declared it a family day and after they were fully wiped from their adventures here, we did lunch, hit that little nearby candy shop for a small treat, then decided to visit the zoo on the way home too.  I love their enthusiasm for life and the day was a hit!
