It's rare that you will find Bryn actually wearing her pj's to bed (she'll put them on but they usually come off before she actually gets into bed), unless she thinks to wear something of Bennett's.  Tonight she chose his baseball tee and his pj shorts.  Although Bennett can be particular about what he wears to bed, he luckily lets Bryn pick anything of his that she wants.  She loves her big brother!

Ready For The Day

 

I had to snap a photo of my typical morning view...the kiddos all ready for school as they sit on the rug and sing to Norah as I do one last check at gathering the items needed for the day. We never leave without our smiles and I have to say that I am lucky that they all, so far, seem to have inherited my "morning person" gene.  I am one lucky mom but oh how I will miss them today!

Never A Dull Sunday...

I love these three so much and am soaking it all up today.

Soccer Dreams

 

I should also mention that Bennett was so very excited for soccer to start that he happily snuggled with his team shirt as he fell asleep last night.  He came straight to my bedside two minutes before 6am today to ask if he could get his soccer gear on.  The game started at ten, but our little buddy was fully dressed, shin guards and all, just minutes after six this morning.  I love his attitude and drive.  Such a sweet boy.

Tiny Tonka Soccer started today! We had one very happy boy (#3)!! Andrew has taken on another round of coaching so these two are quite adorable together! The weather was much colder than expected for all, so they sure ran a lot to try to keep warm! Go Orange!

Bryn's New Bed

 

Look who got herself a new twin bed last night? Bryn's convertible bed was definitely not cutting it anymore so we did a little upgrade.  I wonder if she'll sleep past 5:30 if her bed is bigger? Bigger bed equals bigger cuddles!

Norah Is 11 Months Old!

I can hardly believe that she's almost one! Norah is so deeply adored by all of us - the bigger kiddos still refer to her as their 'baby'; she is typically the first thing that Bryn wants when waking in the morning.  I must say it all the time but it's so completely true that Norah is the absolute sweetest thing, always up for a snuggle and will hug you right back.  She never keeps her shoes or socks on, can move so swiftly and get into everything, has quite the grip, loves Hampton, loves books, loves just being next to Bennett and Bryn, easily prefers Andrew's shoulder over anyone's, goes to bed like a champ, is content wherever we go, and is almost always in the best of moods.  She loves anything from the bread group, most fruits, and some veggies.  Andrew noted that she eats foods the way he eats popcorn, cramming it all in.  She's really finding her voice around here, has been a giggle machine lately, moves her head to the beat, is quite ticklish, and loves hearing animal noises.  She is using words and some signs and always seems to just enjoy the world around her.  She gave up her morning nap weeks ago and we recently packed away all the bottles so she is moving out of the baby stage (sniffle, and no wonder I have baby fever!).  She's so friendly, a thinker, a nurturer, and a jokester and we love every inch of our littlest!!

A Little Painting

 

This morning the kiddos painted two of those $1 books of painting sheets - they chose 'mermaids' and 'camping' ones while we were out running errands earlier. It was two dollars well spent as it kept them very contently occupied for quite a while!

Egg Hunt

 

The Easter Bunny made a surprise bonus trip and hid lots of eggs in our yard for an egg hunt this afternoon! Bennett and Bryn absolutely loved it, and loved the m&m's I hid in a few of them.  They carried their baskets around for the rest of the night! We spent most of the day outside in that beautiful sunshine and grilled burgers with veggies and a big fruit salad for dinner.  What a great day!
