Rockin' Out

We are lucky to have family staying with us all week!! We had some very happy kiddos when Uncle Corey arrived for the night!  When you get Dad and Uncle Cor together, you have to bust out the guitar for some rockin'!

The Great Outdoors

I am a firm believer in the healing powers of the great outdoors.  On more days than not, we escape to the fresh air and it always, always fills our hearts and souls bigger than they were before.  Grateful for the three little, growing hearts that will choose endless adventure together under the big blue sky over anything else any day of the week.

Last Day of Soccer!

We wrapped up our indoor winter soccer league with two very silly and energetic soccer lovers this morning!  They will be excited to start outdoors next month so they can run, run, run!

Family Friday

We needed a Family Friday, so that's just what we did!! A little outdoor exploring, yummy pasta from a favorite take-out spot, maybe some cookies for dessert, and some very tired kiddos who fell asleep instantly tonight.  Thank goodness for all of it!  Especially my happy trio above!

Blue-Eyed Bryn

Bryn recently told me: "When I grow up, you can live next door and I will give you a big bowl of chocolate chips for breakfast. I will have a lot of puppies and a lot of babies!  I will take care of my babies and play music in the car really loud and we will all sing together. I can be a mommy and a farmer." She went on to say "I think I'll drive a Subaru and ride to work with daddy. I'll take care of my baby Norah and read books with her and we will go down the big slide but I won't let her fall....."

Coffee, Park, Smiles - Check

We made an early morning coffee and park trip today to beat the snow that is on it's way (and hoping hard it's the last snowfall of the season)! There's chicken chili in the crock pot and corn bread in the oven for a mellow family Sunday of games and books this evening!
