Tonight Bennett painted two big canvases to add to his playroom walls.
I love the genuine happiness in Bennett's smile. The feeling is beyond love, really, and I am so happy right back when I get to be next to him in all of our little moments throughout any given day. Today was our Wednesday off together - no doctor appointments, no big looming deadlines -so I did some shopping with my favorite little sidekick and then we played our happy little hearts out while loving every minute of mommy/B time.
We spent the day at the giant state fair which will likely become an annual tradition now that we are true Minnesotans. We were really looking forward to the day since I have not gone in years and it was A and B's first time - and the trip did not disappoint. We over-indulged in all the food - like deep fried pickles, cheese curds, deep friend Snickers, cookies, and several free refills of fresh milk - and saw tons of animals, played games, went on rides, danced at the kiddie concert, and more. It was an awesome way to spend a Sunday and we were all pretty wiped out by the time we got home. I think the highlights for B were the cheese curds, laughing when the goats nibbled his fingers, the tractors, and the cold milk that he could not get enough of. The great Minnesota get-together was fun for this whole family!
What a full and fun day we had with the family!! Everyone came up to spend the night and we hit the Twins game, barbecued at our place, and just hung out playing, laughing, and watching the football game later in the evening. Bennett LOVES a house full of people and we do too - thanks for a super day everyone and thanks for all the love you give to B!! We loved it and you better be back soon!

We all love sunny evenings at the beach, especially when we get to stop for malts on the way home! Life is good!!
Tonight while I had a dinner date with the girls, Bennett and Andrew had a boys night and went hunting for apples in our backyard. It looks like B was taking his job pretty seriously!
Bennett is all about giving me kisses whenever I ask these days. It's the sweetest thing and I adore him with all my heart. He prefers to open his mouth, happily come right toward your face, and will even follow up with a big "looooooooove youuuuuuuuu'.
