Pumpkin Carving and Painting

Pumpkin carving was a little chaotic, quite messy, and very fun tonight! Bennett was thrilled to really get to carve his own this year and the girls were pretty content helping out here and there plus getting creative with their paints.

Day of Celebrating!

It was a day full of Halloween fun for everyone! We had two class parties and two class parades between the family this afternoon, so I had some very happy kids in costume who continue to show lots of excitement for this holiday.  After the fun at school, we headed to the little farm stand by our house to grab some more small pumpkins for painting later.  Happy almost Halloween!

Boo Blast

The kids are definitely getting use out of their costumes this week. Tonight we went to Boo Blast which is pretty popular at one of our local grocery stores.  They received some healthy options like milk and crayons and coloring pages while strolling through the aisles, plus a little dance party mixed in too. Norah is totally embracing her lamb costume; she just loves it and must think it's Halloween every day.

I love to bake, especially in the fall, and Bryn is always first to my side to help out.  Today she made the cookie dough for our annual pumpkin cookies, while I helped.....

I really think her favorite part is sampling everything while we make it then of course the finished product too, but at least she's willing to work for it!?! I love this little sidekick!

These two have special dates on Tuesdays if Bryn and Dad go solo to gymnastics. So tonight it was homework, cutting, pasting, stickers, and coloring, while I baked pumpkin muffins in between keeping up with Norah's ever changing antics!
