Wednesday Fun

We had a fun enchilada night with Uncle Casey who always rolls along with the energetic kiddo action in our house and happily helps with the reading and snuggling portions of our bed time routine. We love these nights!

Library Morning

On such a chilly day, Daddy's big pancake breakfast (our favorite and most requested!) followed by some reading and puzzles at our local library was such a calm, cozy, and relaxing way to spend our Saturday morning. Happy reading!

Little Trooper

We headed to the doctor this afternoon and it turns out that Bryn has a double ear infection as well as pink eye. You would never guess it based off of her mood and smiles. I must say she is quite a sweet little trooper!

Pizza Turpin

Bennett woke up from nap expressing an interest to go to Pizza Luce, one of the places on our list for family pizza night. Since we knew we weren't heading out for pizza tonight and we had all the fixins to make our own at home, we put him in charge of the dough and pizza decorating, declaring it Pizza Turpin night instead! We all know he loves his pizza so he took great care in putting those mushrooms and pepperoni right where he wanted them to go to create a delicious meal for all!

My Little Book Lover

Speaking of cozy, I guess our big bed was calling Bennett's name as he gathered up some of his favorite books, climbed on up, and settled himself in for another comfy reading session this morning. He sure does have a passion for stories and learning and I was happy to curl up next to him to share in the reading adventures.

Hanging at Home

My girl is all smiles but I can tell she is just not feeling quite herself today so we spent the morning doing all things cozy at home. Hooray for a mid-week chill day with the kids.

Family Tuesdays

We are lucky to be able to see my family quite often. Tonight Uncle Cor, Uncle Case, and Cousin Maddie were over for some major play time. These kids sure do have a ton of energy when they get together!

Wow, Nana! Thanks for all of the help while you were here! From dinner, to treats, to helping with bath time and bedtime, to holding down the fort so Andrew and I could go out for a movie date night (we soooo appreciated that!), to watching the kids all morning so I could work, to letting me run some errands, to folding our laundry, ironing our shirts....it made a huge difference and we thank you so much!!

Sunday Fun with the Family

Nana is here to spend the night with us and Uncle Casey came over too, so we all headed out for a walk through the park before heading home to a meal of lasagna that my mom had prepared for all. What a great day with family!

I Have A Tooth!

Mom and Dad spotted my first tooth today! And there is another one trying to poke through right next to it too! I am getting so big!
