These two love their wagon, which has made it easy to meet B's request and get out on a ride pretty much every night the past few weeks.  They are so smiley and curious and they sing, chat, and laugh back and forth with each other along the way.  We all love it!

Go Twins, Go Mariners!

When the Mariners and Twins play against each other, this family has to attend the ball game! Bennett played it neutral with his M's hat and Twinkies shirt and both kids were quite content in the bleachers with all the excitement around us.  Bryn clapped away as she thought it was her cue every time the rest of the crowd started in, which garnered her lots of attention from those around us.  What a great night for baseball!

Our little Bryn has really been on the move lately.  She's been cruising along the walls and really just wants to see and do anything she can so she figures out how to get herself to where she wants to be.  She stands on her own longer and longer each day so we wonder when she will want to turn it all into walking on her own...?!?

Bryn's First Burley Ride

Bryn took her first pajama Burley ride through our neighborhood tonight!  Bennett was thrilled to be able to have his best little buddy ride with him.  Bryn had mixed emotions of laughter and 'what is this weird thing on my head?' but overall, seemed to enjoy the little ride and will soon be considered a regular now that she is getting so big!

Birthday Fishin' on Lake Winona

 Andrew had a request to do some birthday fishing with the kids, so we headed down to the lake before leaving Winona on Sunday......no one minded that no fish were caught as it was a beautiful morning on the lake for what turned out to be a wonderful day of birthday celebration.

We headed down to Winona for Cousin Maddie's 4th birthday today!! It was wonderful to celebrate with the whole family....way past Bryn's bedtime as you can see!

ENT Stuff

Both kids had separate ENT appointments - Bennett on Monday and Bryn today - where we learned that Bennett has mild to moderate hearing loss and Bryn's is currently a mild conductive loss.  Bennett had tubes placed around 7 months, but they have since fallen out, and he has had liquid behind his ears for close to 6 months straight that we know of, and maybe even longer.  Bryn has had 4 ear infections throughout the spring and summer and she too has liquid that just sits and sits with no sign of draining.  When B and I arrived at the check in desk yesterday, he quietly said to the receptionist - "Are you gonna fix my ears?" which put a big smile on her face and drew some chuckles nearby.

After speaking with the doctors, it was decided that they both will have tubes placed and are scheduled on the same morning coming up in September.  I could not believe Bennett was so open to all who peeked in his ears as it is usually quite the opposite.  I was very proud of how well they both conducted themselves during the testing process and am hopeful that tubes will indeed "fix their ears."
